Born and raised on a small property just north of Albury, Steph (BVSc(Hons), BVetBiol, MRCVS) completed her veterinary studies at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga in 2014.
After graduation she accepted an internship, and was subsequently offered an associate position, at an equine specialist referral centre in Melbourne. She has been working there ever since learning from surgical, medical and ophthalmologist specialists. Her primary roles within the clinic involved management of intensive foal care, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology and respiratory conditions, as well as anaesthesia. Steph is also excited to complete her Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture next year.
Steph was ecstatic to get a chance to return to the Riverina and is keen to embrace all aspects of ambulatory practice, working with the team here at REVS.
Steph travelled to the UK in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed working in the industry in Edinburgh, Scotland. She hopes to experience more of the UK and Europe in the near future. While not working or globetrotting, she likes exploring the rural sights and sounds (and smells) with Memphis the dog!
